Art: make paper snowflakes, create symmetry art for no two alike, cut out and decorate sock hats
Social Studies: find out what winter traditions are celebrated in other countries or by other people in our community
PE: discuss what sports are played in the winter. have outdoor pe time. If possible go sledding, play hockey, go skating.
Science: study the water cycle and how snowflakes are formed. Study what happens when the seasons change from autumn to winter.
Language Arts: write poetry inspired by the book ‘No Two Alike’ (ie. no two faces, no two feet, …)
